It was a special night at Nectarine. Cindi had booked the famous Transitional Dubstep electronic musician, Liquid Stranger, to play the club. There was only one problem... he was not there yet.
Cindi was out on the floor, busily texting her contacts, trying to get a tail on him. Fortunetly, Cindi planned for contingencies just in case crap like this happened. DJ Krisp was laying down some sweet beats for the crowd. In the meantime, all was kosher. But, she only had two hours to track the guy down and get him up on stage before all hell would break lose.

Tessa sat and watched the people on the dance floor from a table off to the side. She had her phone out and was going over a few files from work. Not even when she was trying to take a night off could she leave it all be hind.

Alexandr slides out of the crowd behind Cindi with a subtle flourish.
"Problems?" he asks with a wink.

Tessa glanced up from her phone and tilted her head to the side as she watched Cindi. Looking back to the phone, she hit send and set the phone down in front of her.

"Cindi, if you are having DJ trouble you should have told me. I'll call Glass." Alexandr pulls out his phone.

" I don't think I've met him" She says softly to herself. "Maybe I should take more time away from work..." She sighed and got up, pocketing her phone. Moving through the crowd Tessa makes her way over to Cindi and the young man talking with her.

Cindi slowly turns to glance up at the impressive Russian. "Thank you, I appreciate it," she said with a smile. "I'll let you know if I need him." Cindi had caught a glimpse of Tessa heading toward them. She did not want to be rude, but at the same time she was on guard.
Taking Aleksandr's arm, she led him through the crowd toward the elevator that led up to the VIP Lounge. Leaning into him she confided, "Right now I am more concerned about what might have happened to him. With all these 'political' issues and the party coming up, I'm a bit paranoid about who might be involved in his absence..."

"Ah well then." Tessa muttered to herself as they moved off. She turned toward the doors and headed out.

"I think you may have hurt the blue-blood's feelings." Alexandr gives a wry smile before continuing, "Given what has happened, I share your paranoia. But you really suspect foul play? In that case, I can talk to Glass. He has a few friends in the industry. Perhaps he can find something."

Cindi looked past Aleksandr to see Tessa heading for the door. "Damn..." She looked back at him as he continued to speak. When he said the name Glass, Cindi did a double take. "Oh, yes, your friend... Mr. Darkly. Please do. Any information we can get would be most helpful." Walking around him she began to move toward the Ventrue but paused and turned back to him. "We don't have a lot of time... He's supposed to go on in a few hours."
Cindi made her way across the room very quickly and tapped the woman on the shoulder. "I hope you are not leaving so soon, Tessa. May I interest you in some..." Cindi paused knowing that the Ventrue had very particular tastes. "Something?"

Alexandr speaks into his phone, "Glass? It's Sasha. Da. Come to Nectarine, we must talk. Also see what you can find out about a fellow musician, Liquid Stranger. Da, the same. He was supposed to play tonight but he is... being an artist. Also, bring what you need in case we need you to play. Da." He hangs up.

Tessa turns at the touch. Reaching up to adjust her glasses, she smiles. " I was just thinking of heading back to the office, but I'm not needed there this evening." She looks around the room for a moment and then back to Cindi, noting for a moment how out of place her business suit is here. "I would welcome a little something, and if your not to busy some company. I've been spending to much time with my work of late and I haven't gotten to know many people here."

Melissa steps through the open door. The strobe lights dance rhythmically off her skin tight sequin dress. There is a quick expression of surprise on her face in seeing the two kindred in the doorway. Catching the tail end of Cindi's and Tessa's conversation Melissa speaks up " I can keep you company, Tessa." Melissa looks over the club and then to Cindi. " The Club is looking great tonight, Cindi."

Melissa pulls Cindi and Tessa away from the door and into Nectarine. She looks Tessa up and down with a coy smile. " So Tessa, What's your poison? Guys or Girls? You are going to make some lucky mortal's night."
"And don't worry Cindi we'll take them home if we are feeling a little peckish. "
