After a trial run we have decided to eliminate this system as it was not very effective for roleplay.
Pawns Gambit is looking to institute a new function in the game called Reputation. Below is a description of that system:
Reputation is a fluid number that ranges from -100 to 100 all characters will start at 0 at character creation with an addition 10 points added for each level of prestigious sire purchased. I.e. if you purchase 3pt prestigious sire you will start the game with a reputation of 30. Players will now receive additional status trait at 1,3 and 5 of the Prestigious Sire merit as well as retain the mentor benefits.
Reputation can be gained or lost in multiple ways. Some examples:
*Cannot use if it will cause you to enter negative reputation.
Certain city positions require a certain reputation level to be considered for the nomination.
Players may actively perform actions to increase or decrease other PC’s or NPC’s reputation.
Example: Painting a Brujahs motorcycle pink with piglets on it with hurt his reputation while stealing a priceless work of art for a Toreador to display in his museum will increase his reputation.
Remember, for every enemy made is someone gunning for you reputation.
The Harpy will publish a list on the secure network, each month listing the reputation standing of the kindred in Sunnydale.
Please note, this system is still in the developmental stage. We welcome your comments and suggestions and are open to making changes and/or doing away with this system entirely if it is not working.
